A multi-state all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ chain with locations from California to Texas, with three in the Las Vegas area: West Sahara, Henderson and the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood. The menu covers a wide range of beef, pork, chicken and seafood, plus vegetables and traditional banchan, all grilled at your table. The Strip location takes reservations on OpenTable and runs a daily 3–6pm happy hour, which makes it an easy pick before a show. The neighborhood locations are geared more toward locals.

A family-owned Samoan kitchen run by Ferina Pelupelu, whose roots go back to a church kitchen her father opened in the early 2000s. After years of plate sales, a shared kitchen and spots in North Las Vegas and Silverado Ranch, it now has its own place in the Charleston West Plaza. Service is buffet-style: you pick your items and grab your plate. Look for palusami (taro leaves in coconut cream), pisupo (corned beef), sapasui (Samoan chop suey), meat pies and pagipopo (coconut sweet rolls). It’s popular with the local Polynesian community, and favorites can sell out, so earlier in the day is safer.
